The Pennington School kicked off the celebration of its 175th anniversary on May 18 with a day of festivities for alumni and current families, highlighted by a keynote address by former New Jersey Gov. Thomas Kean.

Following the morning symposium, an all-school luncheon was held under an enormous white tent on historic O’Hanlon Green. Board of Trustees Chair Peter J. Tucci, Class of 1979, presented the Order of the Tower, the school’s highest award, to two distinguished alumni: John Biddiscombe, Class of 1963, and Georgia Manukas, Class of 1985.

The Pennington School, founded in 1838, is celebrating its 175th anniversary.
