Peter F. Kelly Appointed to District VII Ethics Committee

Peter F. Kelly, partner in the Princeton office of Fox Rothschild LLP, was recently appointed to the District VII Ethics Committee by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

As an appointed member, Kelly will serve a four-year term where he will review and investigate grievances lodged against attorneys and assist in determining ethics violations by presenting matters to as well as serving on hearing panels when complaints are filed against attorneys.

Kelly focuses his practice on business planning, mergers and acquisitions, sales and purchases of businesses, health care transactional law and general corporate representation. He serves as a trustee of the Mercer County Bar Association and has, for the past three years, chaired the association’s budget committee. Kelly was also selected to participate in the Greater Mercer County Chamber of Commerce’s Young Business Leader’s Council, a forum for young business leaders to enhance their leadership skills, network with colleagues and participate in volunteer projects that impact the business and local community.

Kelly is a 2002 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, with high honors, and earned his B.S. from Rutgers University-Cook College in 1997. Following law school, Kelly served as a judicial law clerk to Justice Virginia A. Long, Associate Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
