Prominent Antitrust Lawyer Helene Jaffe Joins Fox Rothschild

Significantly bolstering the firm’s national antitrust practice, Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome Helene D. Jaffe as a partner to the firm’s New York office.

Jaffe will serve as co-chair of the firm’s antitrust practice.

A recognized leader, Jaffe is routinely named by peers and clients as among the top antitrust attorneys globally and nationally in such prominent guides as Chambers Global, Chambers USA, The Legal 500 and Benchmark Litigation, among others. She focuses her practice on the transactional, counseling and litigation aspects of antitrust law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, single firm conduct and distribution matters.

Jaffe has more than three decades of experience as an antitrust litigator in New York. She has been involved in many of the foremost antitrust cases that have shaped the law and defined the parameters of doing business in the United States for a host of industries, including chemicals, consumer products, cosmetics, electronics, health care, pharmaceuticals, professional sports, publishing and telecommunications.

Additionally, Jaffe represents clients buying and selling companies both domestically and internationally, as well as clients whose pricing, promotional or marketing practices are under scrutiny or challenged by the Antitrust Division, Federal Trade Commission and other government regulatory agencies. She has handled several Lanham Act advertising, trademark and trade dress cases, encompassing injunctions and bench and jury trials.

Jaffe earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and her B.A. from Columbia University.

Prior to joining Fox, Jaffe was a partner with Brown Rudnick LLP, where she led the antitrust practice. She also previously headed the antitrust practice groups at two other AmLaw 100 law firms.
