PSBA Testifies on the Impact of Pension Crisis on Collective Bargaining

Jeffrey Sultanik was noted for presenting testimony on behalf of the PA School Boards Association to the joint Senate-House Republican Policy Committee on the issue of the pension crisis. He focused on the impact of the impending spike in pension payment on collective bargaining. Sultanik said that school districts need a solution from the Legislature and labor negotiations are strained. Sultanik included that school districts are sensitive to the complexity of dealing with modifications to the PSERS system on political, economic and practical basis.
