At the most recent NJ Spotlight Roundtable, there was general consensus that the state should more vehemently encourage energy efficiency. However, a debate sparked over how to achieve this goal.

As a utility lawyer who represents large energy users, Goldenberg cautioned that energy programs need to be cost-effective and that a price ought to be paid if the utilities don’t deliver the promised results.
