Rachelle Bin Recognized by New Jersey Law Journal as Diverse Attorney of the Year

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Rachelle M. Bin, who was honored as one of the 2017 Diverse Attorneys of the Year by the New Jersey Law Journal.

The biennial award recognizes New Jersey-based attorneys who are advancing diversity initiatives and social justice throughout the legal community. Honorees are representative of diversity in all forms—including ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation and gender identity—and share a passion for advancing the legal profession.

Bin’s parents fled Cuba in 1960, and she was born and raised in Los Angeles with Spanish as her first language. Now a key player in the leadership of Fox Rothschild, she serves as Assistant General Counsel, providing risk management advice and guidance to more than 800 attorneys in Fox 's 22 offices nationwide.

Active in the community, Bin sits on the board of Corner House Foundation, a nonprofit in Princeton that focuses on addiction issues that affect youth, as well as on the board of Mercer County’s Meals on Wheels. She also is a Spanish-language volunteer with the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund, interfacing with area immigrants, and assisting with community outreach and fundraising.

Bin earner her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in English literature.
