Ronald L. Williams of Fox Rothschild Is Presenter at Construction Financial Management Association Chapter Meeting

Ronald L. Williams, a partner in the Chester County office of Fox Rothschild LLP, presented at the Construction Financial Management Association’s Greater Berks-Lehigh Valley, Pa Chapter Meeting on ”Leveraging Payment in Troubled Times – Getting Paid Profitability or Cutting Your Losses.” The meeting was held January 12, at the Holiday Inn in Fogelsville, Pa.

Williams led a discussion on payment risk management, work stoppage and termination provisions, mechanics liens, payment bond claims, litigation, arbitration and mediation.

As co-chair of the firm’s Construction Law Group, Williams focuses his practice on construction litigation and negotiating construction contracts. He is experienced in construction litigation and arbitration across multiple states in both state and federal courts. Williams has handled matters for architects, developers, contractors, subcontractors, public and private owners, manufacturers, lenders and tenants. Additionally, Williams has experience in construction and renovations projects for entertainment complexes, hotels, malls, surgical centers, schools and universities and office complexes, among others.

Williams has successfully defended builders and developers in construction defect cases involving structural components, product performance issues, water penetration and mold, insurance coverage issues and claims for property and personal injury loss.

Active in his community, Williams is a member of the Berks and Chester County Bar Associations and in the Construction Financial Management Association of the Greater Berks-Lehigh Valley, Pa Chapter.

Williams earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law and his B.A. from Georgetown University
