Wills for Heroes® is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that assists attorneys, bar associations and other 501(c)(3) organizations with establishing state and local programs to provide estate planning services (including preparation of simple wills, living wills and powers of attorney) free of charge to our nation’s emergency first responders, sworn law enforcement personnel and military veterans who are eligible for the programs.
For the past seven years, Romaszewski has played a fundamental role in the Wills for Heroes® Foundation. Through the initiative, which is co-sponsored in Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, Romaszewski regularly provides free basic estate planning services to first responders, law enforcement personnel and military veterans.
In 2016, Romaszewski was elected to the board of directors of the Foundation and currently serves as its corporate secretary and co-director of National Affiliate Development. She also serves as one of the program directors in Pennsylvania as well as the county coordinators in Bucks County and Delaware County.
Romaszewski is also actively involved in Peirce College’s Paralegal Studies Program Advisory Committee, and serves as a director of the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund, as president of the Bridesburg Boys & Girls Club’s Unit Council, and as a trustee for the Henry Reed Hatfield Nicetown Playground. Additionally, she is a principal volunteer of Noah’s Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary, a nonprofit animal welfare organization located in Southeastern Pennsylvania. She is also a graduate of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia’s 2017 Core Class.
