Jeffrey Sultanik was quoted in the Lehigh Valley Live article “Saucon Valley Schools to be in Session Monday.” While the full text can be found in the August 20, 2014, issue of Lehigh Valley Live, a synopsis is noted below.

Saucon Valley School District students and teachers will be in the classroom for the first day of school.

Teachers agreed to return to the table to discuss a four-year contract. They have proposed a three-year contract, which would mean negotiations for the new contract would resume immediately and the board favors a longer deal.

“The difficulty we face now is that the union has made a final proposal that is patently unacceptable to the board,” Sultanik said. “Unless the union decides that it is willing to negotiate its final proposal, negotiations cannot go anywhere.”
