Scott M. Badami, Litigator, Joins Fox Rothschild’s Montgomery County Office

Fox Rothschild LLP has announced that Scott M. Badami has joined the firm as a partner in the Litigation Department, resident in the Montgomery County office.

“Scott is a welcome and exciting addition to our Blue Bell office and our Litigation Department,” said Marc B. Davis, office managing partner of the Montgomery County office. “We’re looking forward to working closely with him, and we’re pleased he’s chosen to join Fox Rothschild.”

Badami, who joins the firm from Bryan Cave LLP in Washington, D.C., focuses his practice in commercial and administrative litigation. He has a significant trial and appellate practice representing clients in federal and state court, and extensive experience in arbitrations, mediations, and agency proceedings. Badami has experience handling a variety of tort and contract matters for public companies and private institutions in areas such as discrimination (housing and employment), chemical manufacturing, insurance, and education.

In addition, he has substantial experience defending clients in regulatory compliance matters before a variety of federal agencies, including the Department of Justice, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Defense, the Federal Election Commission, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Federal Trade Commission.

Badami received his J.D. from the University of Missouri in 1991, and a B.A., cum laude, from James Madison University in 1984. Prior to law school, Badami spent more than four years as Legislative Director and Press Secretary to a senior Member of Congress in Washington, D.C.
