Stephanie Nolan Deviney Elected Vice Chair of Pennsylvania State University’s Board of Trustees

Stephanie Nolan Deviney, an attorney in the Exton office of Fox Rothschild LLP, has been elected Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania State University’s Board of Trustees.

Deviney joined the 32-member board in 2010 – the first graduate of the Dickinson School of Law to be elected to the board of trustees. Deviney serves as Co-chair of the committee on audit and risk and as a member of the committee on legal and compliance as well as the committee on outreach development and community relations. Deviney was appointed to the Blue and White Vision Council on November 2012.

Deviney is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and Construction Law Group. She has considerable experience representing contractors and subcontractors in construction litigation matters, including construction lien claims, mechanic’s liens, bond liens and delay damages.

She also has significant experience mediating and litigating multiparty construction claims in both state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Deviney has also represented both mortgagors and mortgagees in foreclosure actions.

In 2011, Deviney was named a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by The Legal Intelligencer. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Villa Maria Academy Alumnae Association as well as the Villa Maria Academy Parent Advisory Board.

Deviney received her J.D. from Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 1997 and her B.A. from the University of Richmond in 1994.
