Stephanie Resnick Named to List of Litigation Trailblazers by The National Law Journal

December 5, 2016 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Stephanie Resnick has been named to The National Law Journal’s prestigious list of Litigation Trailblazers.

This coveted distinction recognizes attorneys whose accomplishments place them at the highest rung of advancing litigation strategy. The list is culled from a competitive field of nominees, all of whom are innovating litigation practice in a significant way.

A business trial lawyer, Resnick is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and chair of the firm’s Directors’ & Officers’ Liability & Corporate Governance Practice Group. She previously chaired the firm’s nationwide Litigation Department – a post she held for seven years.

Consistently ranked among the nation’s top litigators, Resnick is known by colleagues and peers for her strategic handling of high-stakes, complex business disputes in the federal and state courts of Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and beyond. In confidential client interviews, Resnick has been praised for her “easygoing but powerful presence” and for her “ability to handle things calmly while maintaining an unflinching stance.” Clients also note that she is “one of the best litigators in the city – aggressive, driven, responsive.”

Resnick was also recognized for her devotion to ensuring the integrity of the courts and helping to shape the legal profession by serving on the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary, which vets federal court nominees, including Supreme Court justices, and by holding several top leadership positions with the Philadelphia Bar Association, including Chair of the Board of Governors, Chair of the Federal Courts Committee and Chair of the Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention.

Over more than 30 years in the legal profession, Resnick has been dedicated to promoting other women in the law and in the larger business community. In recognition of her career-long efforts, she received the coveted Sandra Day O’Connor Award, which is given to an outstanding woman attorney in the Philadelphia area who exemplifies the qualities that Justice O’Connor embodied — an extraordinary degree of professional excellence and exceptional mentoring to advance women in the legal profession.
