The Tredyffrin-Easttown school board and the district's teachers' union announced on September 6, 2012 that they reached a tentative contract agreement.

Jeffrey T. Sultanik, chair of the firm’s Education practice and chief negotiator for the school board, told the Daily Local News that today's financial constraints make contract negotiations more difficult than in the past.

"Our task was by no means simple," Sultanik said. "Both parties worked very hard to get to the tentative agreement."

Sultanik added, "I have to compliment the teachers' association for working with us and recognizing the issues. The tentative agreement is reflective of this new environment."
