Yann Geron was featured in the Law360 article "Thelen Trustee Hits 6 More Ex-Partners with Clawbacks." While the full text can be found in the August 26, 2013, issue of Law360, a synopsis is noted below.

Thelen LLP’s trustee, Yann Geron, hit six equity partners with lawsuits alleging they were overpaid before the firm dissolved.

The suits are the latest attempt to recoup some of the defunct firm’s losses by taking aim at attorneys who received loans for various reasons. Geron alleges the partners were fronted more money than the partnership agreements allowed, and that the partners therefore owe any excess compensation.

Geron’s previous lawsuits claimed that an October 2008 waiver adding language to the firm’s partnership plan that did away with its right to any unfinished business was a fraudulent transfer because it deprived the partnership of its right to recoup earnings on unfinished business.
