The Bucks County Courier Times gave Jeffrey Sultanik, chief contractor negotiator for the Pennsbury school board, a thumbs-up for the failure notice he issued to teachers. Teachers are now regulars at the school board meetings due to stalled contract negotiations, but the paper notes that the worst economic times since the Great Depression seem to have escaped the well-paid teachers' attention. Sultanik commented on the teachers' negligence, saying, "They haven't done their homework and deserve an 'F' for their blind adherence in negotiating a labor contract the way they did in a very different economic time."
