Todd A. Rodriguez, a partner in Fox Rothschild’s Exton office, is a contributing author to Representing Physicians Handbook, Second Edition, a publication of the American Health Lawyers Association.
Rodriguez serves as co-chair of the firm’s Health Law Practice. He is a regulatory and transactional health care attorney who focuses on fraud and abuse counseling, Medicare Part B reimbursement, physician representation, managed care and corporate and contracting issues.
He has extensive experience representing physicians in all aspects of medical practice including practice mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and drafting and consulting on operational and business planning issues. Rodriguez regularly advises clients on complex fraud and abuse compliance and regulatory issues, contract negotiations and drafting, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy issues, reimbursement and corporate and employment issues.
Active in the legal community, Rodriguez is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Rodriguez also maintains the Physician Law blog, an online resource for current legal issues and news affecting physicians and other non-institutional health care providers. He also frequently speaks on health care topics at national and regional conferences including recent speaking engagements before the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Keystone Chapter of the Academy of Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Radiological Society and the American Health Lawyers Association's Physicians and Physicians Organization Law Institute.
Rodriguez earned his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law and his B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College.
