March 18, 2014 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild Attorney Wali Rushdan II was recently selected as an “Emerging Leader in the Law” by Manna Christian Fellowship Church in Wilmington, DE.

At a celebration held on February 23 at Manna’s Wilmington location, the organization honored minority attorneys who are making significant contributions to the fabric of the African American community in the legal field and broader society. As one of three selected honorees, Rushdan was lauded for his leadership and positive influence in the community.

Over the past four years, the church has recognized members of the greater Wilmington community as emerging leaders. Past recipients have included leaders in law enforcement, business/commerce, education and not-for-profit organizations.

In his practice at Fox Rothschild, Rushdan handles a variety of litigation and transactional matters in the areas of patent litigation, real estate condemnations, education law, copyrights and trademarks.

An active member of the community, Rushdan has a wide range of experience assisting organizations in volunteer and leadership capacities. He is a former co-chair and current board member of the Achievers Inc., a self-development and leadership training program for young men in Delaware.

He is also the governance chairman for the Council on Urban Empowerment, a Delaware nonprofit entity funding projects and initiatives to improve education and socio-economic development opportunities in urban communities.

Rushdan earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Camden, 2012, his B.A. from the University of Delaware, 2006 and his A.A. from Delaware Technical & Community College, 2003.
