Wan-Mo Kang Honored by Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Wan-Mo Kang on receiving the prestigious Professional Achievement Award from the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA-NJ).

Bestowed upon one recipient each year, the award recognizes an Asian Pacific American attorney who has exemplified skill and experience in his/her practice area and who has shown a commitment to diversity in the legal profession.

APALA-NJ is the largest specialty bar association that collectively represents the interests of Asian and Pacific American lawyers in the State of New Jersey.

Kang is a dedicated member of the Korean American community. He is a founding member of both the Young Korean American Service and Education Center, Inc. and the National Korean American Service and Education Consortium, Inc. (NAKASEC). Kang currently serves as Board Chair for NAKASEC, and has also served on the board of trustees for The Korea Report and the National Executive Board for the Asian Pacific- American Labor Alliance, AFL-CIO and is actively involved with the Korean Community Center of Greater Princeton.

At Fox, Kang handles general corporate law, labor and employment law and corporate litigation matters. He has experience representing major Korean companies doing business in the United States on a vast array of matters, including incorporation, branch office opening, draft and negotiation of business and employment contracts, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, technology transfer and complex commercial litigation.

Kang will be honored at a APALA-NJ’s 20th Anniversary Gala on June 8.
