Wan-Mo Kang of Fox Rothschild LLP Honored by Rutgers University School of Law APALSAFebruary 11, 2009
Wan-Mo Kang, a partner and chair of the International Practice with Fox Rothschild LLP, was recently honored by the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) of the Rutgers University School of Law Camden. Kang was the honoree at the APALSA’s 2009 Lunar Banquet on February 6, 2009.
Kang was chosen because of his “contribution to the Asian-American community” as well as for his service as Vice Chair of the Korean Community Center of Greater Princeton. The banquet was attended by approximately 100 students, professors and Philadelphia Asian Pacific American Bar Association officers.
Kang, who is resident in the firm’s Princeton, New Jersey, office, represents and advises a wide range of major Korean companies doing business in the U.S. for matters such as incorporation, branch office opening, draft and negotiation of business and employment contracts, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, technology transfer and complex commercial litigation.
Active in the Korean community, Kang is a founding member of the Young Korean American Service and Education Center, Inc., and the National Korean American Service and Education Consortium, Inc. He has served on the board of trustees of The Korea Report, and on the National Executive Board of the Asian Pacific-American Labor Alliance, AFL-CIO. In 2007, Kang was selected as a “New Jersey Rising Star” by New Jersey Monthly Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine.
