Wendy G. Rothstein Elected Secretary of the Montgomery Bar Association

January 14, 2014 – Press Releases

Wendy G. Rothstein, partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, has been elected to serve as secretary of the Montgomery Bar Association (MBA). As the first Fox attorney to hold a leadership position within the association, Rothstein looks forward to beginning a five-year president track for the MBA.

Rothstein, a member of the MBA for the past 31 years, focuses her practice on solving business problems for both for-profit and nonprofit entities. She develops plans and strategies for companies to navigate through both the everyday and unique challenges that arise in the course of doing business. She also counsels clients on avoiding litigation when possible and represents them in successfully prosecuting and defending litigation when necessary.

Known as the “go to” person for Montgomery County litigation, Rothstein served as the chair of the firm’s Montgomery County Litigation Department – the first female to hold that role – from 1996 through 2008. Recognized among the top litigators in Montgomery County, she is widely known and respected in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, having worked in the courthouse prior to law school and practiced there her entire legal career, since 1982.

Rothstein was the first female attorney hired at the law firm of Pearlstine Salkin, Associates in September 1982 (the firm merged with Fox Rothschild in 1996). She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Baltimore in 1982 and her B.S., cum laude, from Temple University in 1978.
