Wendy G. Rothstein of Fox Rothschild Elected to Montgomery County Bar Association Judiciary Committee

Wendy G. Rothstein, a partner in the Montgomery County office of Fox Rothschild LLP, has been elected to the Montgomery County Bar Association Judiciary Committee for a four year term commencing in January 2010. This is Rothstein’s third term on the Judiciary Committee which consists of 34 lawyers and is charged with interviewing and rating judicial candidates for a seat on the Court of Common Pleas. Rothstein also served on the Federal Judicial Nominating Commission.

Rothstein recently concluded a 12 year term as the chair of Fox Rothschild’s Montgomery County Litigation Department. Rothstein currently is co-chair of the firm’s Tax Appeal group. Rothstein is widely known and respected in the Montgomery County Courts having worked in the Courthouse prior to law school and practiced there her entire legal career since 1982. She has further served as a Court appointed Discovery Master since 2001. With a broad based litigation practice, Rothstein is experienced in commercial and business litigation; alternative dispute resolution including commercial arbitrations and mediation; real estate, tax assessment, land use and zoning litigation; and employment litigation concerning restrictive covenants, trade secrets and fiduciary duties.

Rothstein’s articles have been published by The Legal Intelligencer, and in 2009, she was a presiding judge at the 2009 University of Pennsylvania Law Mock Trial Competition. Rothstein is also an active member in the Montgomery County ,Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations and frequently lectures for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.

Rothstein earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Baltimore in 1982 and her B.S., cum laude, from Temple University in 1978.
