Wendy Rothstein Named Recipient of Margaret Richardson Award

Wendy G. Rothstein, partner in the Blue Bell office of Fox Rothschild LLP, was recently named the recipient the 2012 Margaret Richardson Award by the Montgomery County Bar Association’s Women in the Law Committee.

The award is presented to a women “trailblazer” who has advanced the role of women in the legal profession as well as the legal rights of women. Rothstein will be honored at a reception on October 18.

In her practice, Rothstein focuses on commercial and business litigation; alternative dispute resolution, including commercial arbitrations and mediation; employment litigation involving restrictive covenants, trade secrets, fiduciary duties, defending employers in employment discrimination suits and defending wage and hour claims; and real estate, tax assessment and land use and zoning litigation.

Rothstein is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Associations. She is a member of the Montgomery Bar Association Judiciary and Civil Rules Committees as well as the Long Range Planning Committee. She also serves as the chair of the Bench Bar Committee and chair of the Civics' Education Task Force. She has served as a court-appointed Discovery Master since 2001. She earned her J.D. from the University of Baltimore in 1982 and her B.S. from Temple University in 1978, graduating cum laude from both.
