Murphy Still Proud of the Vote That Cost Him His Job

Moments after the Supreme Court upheld the Affordable Care Act, Fox Rothschild attorney Patrick Murphy received congratulatory emails. Murphy, an advocate of both the Obama and Affordable Care Act, told the Bucks County Courier Times that his vote was one of the primary reasons he lost the 2010 rematch with Mike Fitzpatrick. “I always said that I was going to vote my conscience and do what was right for the country even though at the time it wasn’t popular,” Murphy said.
