Fox Rothschild Builds Up Muni Debt Practice

Michael A. Sweet was featured in Law360 for recently joining Fox Rothschild LLP in its Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Department in the firm’s San Francisco office.  Sweet’s experience and background is in municipal debt restructuring and Chapter 9 filings.  

Sweet praised the firm for its “growing West Coast bankruptcy practice.”  He told Law360, “I look forward to working with local governments to try to right the ship.”  Sweet referenced that many California municipalities are in a “tough position” because of rising pension obligations as well as less revenue coming in as a result of the recession.
