Bankrupt Thelen Collects More Than $400K in Clawback Settlement With 4 Firms

The representatives from Thelen recently announced to a New York bankruptcy court that the defunct law firm has recently settled business claims with four more law firms.  To date, 20 different firms have agreed to make payments to the Thelen estate.

Some of these settlements are tied to the lawsuits filed by the Thelen Chapter 9 trustee, Yann Geron, a partner and member of the firm’s Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy department.  Geron filed the suits against former firm clients, ex-Thelen partners and 16 law firms last September.
