Abraham Reich and Stephanie Resnick of Fox Rothschild Recognized as Pennsylvania Litigation Stars in 2012 Benchmark Litigation Guide

Abraham C. Reich, co-chair of Fox Rothschild LLP, and Stephanie Resnick, chair of the firm’s nationwide Litigation Department, have been noted as litigation stars in Pennsylvania in the latest edition of Benchmark Litigation, the Guide to America’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.
Benchmark is the only publication on the market to focus exclusively on litigation in the United States. Its researchers conduct extensive interviews over a year-long period in order to get the most accurate feedback about the market. Recommendations are based on face-to-face and telephone interviews with the nation’s leading private practice lawyers and in-house counsel.
In this year’s guide, Reich was noted for receiving unanimous mentions from peers for his “antitrust, securities and intellectual property litigation prowess.” Resnick was noted for her “easygoing but powerful presence,” and for her “ability to handle things calmly while maintaining an unflinching stance.”
Reich and Resnick have been noted as leading litigation attorneys in Pennsylvania by Chambers USA and have both been selected as among the "Top 100 Lawyers in Pennsylvania" and the "Top 100 Lawyers in Philadelphia" by Philadelphia Magazineand Law & Politics Magazine for several years. Additionally, Resnick was recently named to Benchmark’s list of Top 250 Female Litigators in America.
Reich represents clients in all aspects of business litigation, including antitrust, securities, trade secrets, legal ethics and professional responsibility and alternative dispute resolution. He frequently lectures and writes on business litigation, legal ethics and professional responsibility.
Reich served as Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association in 1995. He serves as a member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board. He is also is on the Board of Governors for the Philadelphia Bar Association and is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, American Association for Justice, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.
In her practice, Resnick counsels individuals, corporations and boards of directors on all aspects of complex business litigation in state and federal courts. She has a particular fluency in directors' and officers' liability and corporate governance matters.
Resnick also handles matters involving shareholder and partnership disputes, intellectual property, unfair business practices and competition, misappropriation of trade secrets and other business torts, class actions, health care/physician issues, employment-related litigation, ethics and professional liability, defamation and media issues and insurance and reinsurance issues.
Resnick was the recipient of the 2010 Sandra Day O'Connor Award presented by the Philadelphia Bar Association, an honor that recognized her more than two decades of service and dedication to the advancement of women in the legal profession.
For 25 years, Resnick has been extensively involved in the Philadelphia Bar Association, serving as a past chair, and former member, of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Board of Governors. Resnick currently serves as the Third Circuit Representative to the American Bar Association Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary. This prestigious 15-member standing committee evaluates candidates for the federal judiciary at the U.S. District, U.S. Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court levels. She is also a former chair of Women's Way, the nation's oldest and largest funding federation for services for women and children.
For six consecutive years, Resnick has been selected as one of the “Top 50 Women Lawyers in Pennsylvania” by Philadelphia Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine. She was also a recent recipient of the Sandra Day O'Connor Award, presented annually by the Philadelphia Bar Association to a female attorney who has achieved the “highest degree of professional excellence in her field.”
