Elizabeth Sigety Named Among Most Powerful and Influential Women of Pennsylvania

Elizabeth “Liz” D. Sigety, co-chair of the Franchising, Licensing and Distribution Practice at Fox Rothschild LLP, has been named to the 2012 list of Most Powerful and Influential Women of Pennsylvania by the National Diversity Council.
Sigety will be formally recognized at the 3rd Annual Philadelphia Diversity and Leadership conference on October 18. The annual list is compiled of women who have shown excellence in leadership, commitment to the community, dedication to high ethical standards and have greatly contributed to their field of work.
In her practice, Sigety focuses on a wide variety of corporate, venture finance, franchising, licensing and distribution matters. For more than 20 years, she has been a trusted adviser to clients, including startup companies and entrepreneurs, handling business and financial transactions such as venture capital and angel financing, mergers and acquisitions, franchising, licensing, securities and private placements.
Sigety is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Delaware Crossing Investor Group. She is also the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Women’s Franchise Network of the International Franchise Association. She is involved with many local and national organizations including the Angel Capital Association, the Pennsylvania Angel Network, the International Franchise Association and the Professional Athletes Franchise Initiative, and serves on numerous non-profit boards in the Philadelphia and New York regions.
Sigety received her B.A., cum laude, from Yale College in 1986 and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1989.
