Biography

Pat has practiced gaming law for more than two decades, and he has represented casinos, private equity and investment banking firms, real estate developers, Internet gaming companies and gaming equipment vendors. He has handled casino regulatory matters in numerous jurisdictions, including New Jersey, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Jamaica and Macau SAR, China.

In addition to his gaming practice, Pat's practice includes IP licensing and litigation matters. Pat has a number of reported federal court decisions regarding trademark and patent infringement matters and theft of idea matters.

Pat's combination of business and management experience compliments his practice and helps him craft and implement practical and cost-effective solutions to challenging client issues.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining the firm, Pat was Of Counsel to an IP litigation boutique. He also served as senior counsel at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP.

Pat's experience also includes the corporate arena having served as Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Secretary for a publicly traded gaming company with multistate operations. He also served as the Regulatory Affairs Manager for the Claridge Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.

Beyond Fox Rothschild

Pat has testified before the Special Select Committee of Jamaica's Parliament regarding the Casino Gaming Bill to legalize casino gaming.

Pat founded and manages on a volunteer basis the largest all female youth soccer organization in New Jersey, and he also volunteers as a District Commissioner for New Jersey Youth Soccer.
