Biography
Chair of the Private Equity & Investment Management Practice Group, Phil represents a wide variety of clients in acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures and advises public clients in securities and corporate governance matters.
Over the course of his legal career, he has handled numerous middle market acquisitions and divestitures as well as joint venture formations, private placements, PIPE financings and venture capital financings.
Previously Phil served as general counsel for Fiserv Health, among the nation’s largest independent processors of health claims. This experience provided him with extensive knowledge of health care matters and the insight to advise clients from an in-house perspective. Phil is also an experienced CPA who leverages his accounting background when handling complex financial transactions.

Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Phil was a partner at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP.

Phil serves on the board of directors for Cristo Rey Jesuit High School - Twin Cities.
