Appellate Courts Interpret New Custody Statuses

Pennsylvania's Appellate Courts ended 2011 with three decisions that provide guidance on the new custody statutes that went into effect on Jan. 24. A review and analysis of those decisions was presented by Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Supervising Judge Margaret T. Murphy (Family Court Division) and attorney Michael E. Bertin at the Jan. 9 meeting of the Family Law Section.
