Raymond Patella recently contributed a chapter to Inside the Minds: Representing Small Businesses in Bankruptcy titled “Counseling Small Business Owners in Financial Distress.”

The chapter focuses on assisting the small business owner who is facing financial challenges, including potentially representing the business in bankruptcy or other insolvency proceedings. Often times, counsel is dealing directly with the owner and key decision maker who is likely both economically and emotionally invested in the situation. The chapter explores several of the issues that arise when small businesses encounter financial difficulties.
