As seen in the September 2006 In The Zone newsletter.

Many planned community and/or condominium associations implement rules and regulations restricting the display of flags within the community. The restrictions typically limit the type of flag and the location of placement. For instance, the association may prohibit residents from hanging novelty flags in order to maintain an attractive appearance throughout the community. Or, an association may prohibit flagpoles from being installed in the community or wall brackets being mounted on common facades.
