As businesses begin to rebound from the economic downturn, it has become imperative for employers to find ways to retain valuable employees without necessarily spending big dollars to keep them. This concept requires managers and business owners to think outside the box and get creative in providing incentives for these employees to stay. Aside from compensation, employees also desire non-monetary motivation and want to be given the best opportunity to strike a balance between their home and personal lives.
