Fox Rothschild LLP will sponsor the annual Corporate Counsel Conference of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) on March 13 to 15 in Atlanta, GA.
Yesenia Gallegos, partner in the Labor and Employment Department of Fox Rothschild LLP, served on the Planning Committee for the conference and will speak on a panel addressing value-added legal services on March 14 with other industry leaders, including Alex May, VP and General Counsel of Operations and Compliance at Wal-Mart.
Other firm members who will be in attendance include: Keith Chrestionson, Managing Partner of the firm’s San Francisco office; Associate Tyreen Torner; and Associate General Counsel Rachelle Bin.
The conference will feature roundtable discussions, corporate speed networking, CLE courses, a reception and an awards presentation. There will also be a moot court competition held in conjunction with the conference. Featured speakers include Governor Nathan Deal (R-GA) and Asuncion “Sunny” Hostin, CNN Legal Analyst and TV Personality.
Gallegos is actively involved in the HNBA and served as chair of the Women’s Leadership Conference during the 2012 Midyear Corporate Counsel Conference in New Jersey. In 2010, Gallegos was one of 50 Latina lawyers selected from across the country to participate in Inaugural Class of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and HNBA’s Value-Based Training Program, which focuses on providing clients with competitive, value-added legal services.
Gallegos focuses her legal practice in labor, employment and business litigation, including class actions pending in state and federal court. She also advises clients and provides training in areas such as protecting trade secrets and covenants not to compete; wage and hour law; discrimination and harassment claims; executive employment agreements; leaves of absences; and reductions in force.
She earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2003 and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000.
