Sam handles a variety of commercial litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on bankruptcy litigation. He regularly represents Chapter 7 Trustees, debtors and creditors in a variety of bankruptcy matters in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Sam's practice includes litigating avoidance actions and lender liability claims, as well as the prosecution and defense of various commercial and bankruptcy causes of action.
Sam is chair of the firm’s Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Practice and serves as outside general counsel to a generic pharmaceutical manufacturer, coordinating all aspects of the company’s legal work.

Sam formerly served as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Research and Writing at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. He also offers pro bono services to the Support Center for Child Advocates, acting as a child advocate for abused and neglected children.
