Sandra A. Romaszewski Named Among the 2015 “Lawyers on the Fast Track”August 20, 2015 – Press Releases
Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Sandra A. Romaszewski has been named to the distinguished 2015 list of “Lawyers on the Fast Track” by The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly.
The publications compile this annual list of top young attorneys throughout the Commonwealth with the help of a six-member judging panel. Nominees are evaluated on their contributions to the legal community through their advancement of the law, leadership and pro bono efforts.
This year, 40 attorneys in Pennsylvania were selected for the award and will be profiled in a September 29 supplement to the publications and honored at a November banquet.
A senior associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, Romaszewski has been named one of the leading corporate attorneys in Pennsylvania for four consecutive years by Chambers USA (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015). Her practice focuses on M&A and other corporate transactions, as well as general corporate, international and insurance regulatory matters. Her experience includes forming, dissolving and qualifying companies; ensuring corporate clients are in compliance with statutory requirements; and drafting and negotiating stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, merger agreements, joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, distribution agreements, employment agreements, consulting agreements and office lease agreements. Romaszewski also holds various leadership positions within the firm.
Romaszewski focuses her pro bono efforts on the Wills for Heroes Foundation, for which she has volunteered for more than five years. Through the program, which is co-sponsored in Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, Romaszewski provides free basic estate planning services to first responders and military veterans. She serves as the program’s coordinator for both Bucks and Delaware Counties in Pennsylvania, and also assists in running the program statewide and nationally. She was honored in 2013 with the Verdina Y. Showell Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association for her outstanding community service and commitment to the Wills for Heroes program and in 2015 with the Pennsylvania Bar Association Special Achievement Award, in recognition of her ongoing efforts in support of Wills for Heroes.
Romaszewski’s volunteer efforts go beyond Wills for Heroes. She is active in her local community, serving as a director for the Bridesburg Boys & Girls Club; a trustee for Philadelphia’s Henry Reed Hatfield Nicetown Playground; and as a director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, which recognized her dedication to the organization with its Alumni Honoree Award in 2012. She is also a member of the Paralegal Studies Program Advisory Committee at Peirce College in Philadelphia.
Romaszewski received her J.D. from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from Temple University.
