Biography

A former employee benefits tax consultant at Ernst & Young LLP, Terry has experience handling the tax implications of transactions that involve employee benefits and executive compensation. He also provides merger and acquisition transaction support to both public and private companies, advising on potential risks and liabilities related to employee benefits, as well as reviews employee benefit plans for compliance with Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) requirements. Additionally, he advises clients on the implementation of Affordable Care Act requirements.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox, Terry was an employee benefits tax consultant at Ernst & Young LLP.

While in law school, Terry was a law clerk for Xcel Energy and a certified student attorney in the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office. He also served as editor-in-chief of the University of St. Thomas Law Review Journal.

Terry is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association’s Employee Benefits Section Council, which provides a voice for members on legislative, administrative and multi-disciplinary practice issues.
