Tim helps a wide range of taxable, tax-exempt and government employers design and implement qualified retirement plans and nonqualified deferred compensation plans. During the course of his legal career, he has advised clients in developing, documenting and operating 401(k) plans, employee stock ownership plans, cash balance plans and other pension plans, including advising a Fortune 500 company on the impact of final Internal Revenue Service cash balance plan regulations. Tim also assists clients in addressing errors via the IRS and the Department of Labor correction programs. In addition, he works with clients to ensure that they and their committees and boards of directors meet fiduciary and other obligations to plan participants.

Prior to joining Fox, Tim was a partner at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP. He previously served as a member of adjunct faculty for the LLM Tax Program at William Mitchell College of Law.
