SBA Issues Paycheck Protection Program Guidance

The Small Business Administration issued guidance on the Paycheck Protection Program, part of the CARES Act that authorizes up to $349 billion in forgivable loans to small businesses to pay employees during the COVID-19 crisis. Starting April 3, businesses, nonprofits and sole proprietorships can apply for loans to cover payroll and certain other expenses through SBA lenders.
