Alex is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice centers on commercial litigation and defense of catastrophic injury claims. His diverse experience includes banking litigation, business disputes, product liability matters, breach of contract claims, real estate litigation and white-collar criminal defense.
A member of the firm’s Aviation Practice Group, Alex is well-versed in all aspects of aviation and transportation litigation. His experience includes work on the National Airlines crash at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, and serving as liability counsel for Piper Aircraft in connection with a crash in England.
During his years as a prosecutor, Alex was assigned to the Organized Crime Unit and participated in nearly 60 criminal trials. He harnesses his experience and prosecutorial strategy in successfully defending individuals and businesses in all stages of a criminal investigation and prosecution.
In his criminal defense work, Alex has successfully resolved a DUI crash involving personal injury and property damage, securing a lesser charge. He has also handled cases of armed robbery, attempted murder, domestic battery, drug possession, organized scheme to defraud and theft.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Alex was an associate in the aviation and commercial litigation group of a national law firm. He also was lead Florida counsel for a financial institution on UCC matters involving lease agreements.
Before that, Alex served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Organized Crime Unit in Palm Beach County, where he prosecuted nearly 60 jury trials to verdict.
