An experienced and versatile trial attorney, Caroline represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation including insurance defense, high-value personal injury cases and construction disputes.
She also serves as outside general counsel, providing companies with full-service representation and advice on matters involving regulatory compliance, employment law, internal investigations, land use and zoning, litigation management and contract issues.
A former prosecutor, Caroline is tenacious, innovative and strategic — qualities refined over more than a decade with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where she led hundreds of successful criminal prosecutions while forging multi-agency partnerships and focusing on criminal justice reform in the city.
In her role as Chief of the District Attorney’s Gun Violence Task Force — an interagency partnership with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General — Caroline investigated and prosecuted gun traffickers in Pennsylvania. While serving in this and other leadership posts at the DA’s Office, Caroline became a leading adviser on firearms and violent crime policy, legislation and funding for cities and agencies throughout the country.
