As an E-Discovery Client Services Project Manager, Charmala serves as a first point of contact on E-Discovery matters with the firm’s attorneys, clients, E-Discovery Technology Group and vendors. Charmala works with attorneys and clients to identify relevant and/or discoverable documents and electronically stored information; the source, locations and accessibility of such information; and any risks associated with the availability and collection of data pending in litigation. She consults with attorneys and clients on developing an appropriate scope and strategy for E-Discovery, including appropriate methods of data preservation, collection, processing, production and review.

Charmala assists with coordinating E-Discovery collections and helps to prepare discovery plans and other documentation associated with Rule 26/16 conferences. She also attends Rule 26(f) discovery planning conferences as a designated eDiscovery liaison. Charmala has been certified as an E-Discovery Specialist by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists.

Charmala previously served as the Director of E-Discovery and Litigation Support for Shaw Fishman, Glantz and Towbin, which combined with Fox Rothschild in 2018.
