Cristina has extensive experience preparing and filing trademark applications, responses to office actions, assignments, renewals, statements of use, Section 8 and 15 affidavits and other maintenance filings. She routinely works with the firm’s IP attorneys to conduct and analyze preliminary, foreign and comprehensive trademark searches to determine the availability of proposed trademarks and to draft opinion letters. She also reviews clients’ advertisements, product samples and marketing materials to prove use of a mark and, when necessary, corresponds with foreign agents regarding status of a trademark application.

Cristina was a trademark specialist in the New York office of a major international law firm. She also previously served as a senior trademark paralegal in the intellectual property department of the New York office of another major international law firm and managed the intellectual property department of a law firm in the Dominican Republic.
