Fox Rothschild Attorneys Author Treatise on Eminent Domain Law

Herbert Bass, Marc E. Needles and David B. Snyder, co-chairs of Fox Rothschild’s nationally recognized Eminent Domain Practice, have recently co-authored the new treatise Pennsylvania Eminent Domain.

First written in 1964 by Ed Snitzer, Pennsylvania Eminent Domain is the leading publication on eminent domain law in Pennsylvania for real estate professionals, property owners and condemnors looking to stay updated on developments in the law. Since then, the publication has been updated with periodic supplements, 12 of which were authored by members of Fox Rothschild’s Eminent Domain Group including Bass, Needles and Snyder. The new treatise is the first complete revision of the original text.

Bass, Needles and Snyder are nationally recognized authorities in the complex area of eminent domain. As co-chairs of Fox Rothschild’s Eminent Domain Practice, they have handled condemnation cases in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Kentucky, Texas, California and other states.

Bass is also involved in a broad range of real estate matters, including transactional matters, dispute matters and real estate litigation. He received his LL.B. from Harvard Law School and his A.B. from Dickinson College. Needles is well versed in appraisal theory and methodology, he works closely with appraisers, especially in connection with complex valuation issues. Needles earned his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A. from University of Virginia. Snyder is an experienced litigator and has lectured on real estate and eminent domain-related issues nationally and his comments have been published in various national media outlets. Snyder received his J.D. from Temple University School of Law and his B.A. from Emory University.
