In today’s hypercompetitive lending environment, distressed companies have more options than ever before when it comes to their capital structure. This discussion will cover several of the opportunities distressed companies currently have to secure debt and equity capital. The perspective will come from a typical workout scenario whereby the company is seeking alternative sources of capital to either refinance the fatigued existing lender and/or strengthen the balance sheet.
