Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section’s Summer Meeting
Jane E. Lessner and Elizabeth Silvia Wood, attorneys at Fox Rothschild LLP, recently spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section’s Summer Meeting, which was held on July 17-20, 2008, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Lessner served on a panel of lawyers and psychologists that presented a program on the “Ethical Considerations in Interactions between Psychologists and Attorneys: Avoiding Compromising Positions.” Wood, with the aid of Fox Rothschild attorney Julie E. Ganz, presented a case law update on adoptions, paternity, relocation, and termination of parental rights.
Lessner, a partner resident in the firm’s Philadelphia office, focuses her practice primarily on domestic relations matters, including adoptions, divorces, child custody and visitation, support, alimony, property distribution, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She also has extensive experience regarding issues related to surrogacy arrangements. Lessner is a frequent presenter of CLE programs on custody and family law issues and was an adjunct professor at Villanova Law School for many years. She is a member of the Family Law Sections of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Wood, who is resident in the firm’s Chester County office, focuses her practice on all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including adoption, custody, divorce, protection from abuse, support, and pre-marital agreements. She is a member of the Family Law Sections of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Chester County Bar Association.
Ganz, who is also resident in the Chester County office, focuses her practice in litigation matters related to family law issues. She is a member of the Family Law Sections of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Bar Association.
