The new Fair Labor Standards Act Overtime Rule Changes are scheduled to go into effect December 1, 2016, yet a recent flurry of bills and the threat of litigation may cause implementation of the proposed regulation changes to be derailed, delayed or phased in. Given this uncertainty over timing and outcome, preparation and contingency planning is critical.

An estimated 60 percent of businesses are expected to the impacted by the proposed overtime rule changes, yet many companies have not yet prepared either because they do not understand the risks, they do not have the resources or they do not believe they have any issues. More concerning, some companies are opting not to do anything because they are assuming there will be more time or the proposed rule will be overturned.

Join us for this special program as we bring clarity in “real time” to what’s happening while highlighting the legal and HR/operational perspectives on the business impact of these upcoming FLSA changes.
