Join us for a discussion on the basic elements of charitable trusts. We'll define a charitable trust and explain how it is taxed for federal income tax purposes, as well as describe the types of trusts subject to excise taxes and highlight how trustees can eliminate or minimize the amount of income and excise taxes paid by charitable trusts.
The program will conclude with a 30-minute Q&A session where participants can consult with our presenter, who has in-depth experience assisting corporate fiduciaries in obtaining tax-exempt status for the charitable trusts they administer.
This seminar qualifies for 2.0 CFP credits.
