11 am PT | 2 pm ET
The Emergency COVID-19 Prevention Regulation issued by Cal/OSHA – the most sweeping pandemic-related requirements imposed on California employers to date – is now in effect and being enforced. Most employers in the state are covered, with few exceptions.
Our program will cover priority topics, including:
- Reviewing the new mandatory exclusion pay; employers must provide paid, job-protected leave to COVID-affected employees while they are quarantined
- Preparing individualized COVID-19 Prevention Programs required for each employer
- Identifying and correcting “COVID-19 hazards” in the workplace as required
- Responding to “outbreaks” and “major outbreaks” as required
- Providing employee access to coronavirus testing
- Investigating COVID-19 cases in compliance with the regulations
- Establishing new mandatory employee training, workplace alterations and PPE requirements
- Reviewing Cal/OSHA’s enforcement priorities and the consequences of violations
- And more
