January 31, 2012

Associated Builders and Contractors - Virginia Chapter

2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Reggie Jones, chair of Fox Rothschild's Government Contracts and Procurement Practice, will present at this upcoming Virginia Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors webcast

In a down economy, Virginia has an infrastructure delivery system where you can either respond to a solicitation or propose your own project – Public Private Partnerships through either the Public Private Education Act (PPEA) or the Public Private Transportation Act (PPTA). This course is designed to help you understand how to partner with designers, identify projects, understand the law and negotiate the comprehensive agreement.

Virginia leads the Country in the use of PPP procurement. Attendees will learn about what projects are being built using PPPs, learn how PPPs might be what keeps your business aloft, and the nuts and bolts of how to negotiate a comprehensive agreement.
